In this connection, initial review will be based on the overall strength of application and supporting documents compared to the eligibility criteria and prerequisites of the Scholarship. However, during interviews particular attention will also be given to the future aspirations of candidates, their social and economic status.

Fifth stage – The Donor shall then invite successful candidates from previous stage for interviews based on which the Donor shall proceed with the final selection of the Recipient. For the purposes of the interviews, Latsco will share copy of the candidates’ CV with International Propeller Club Port of Piraeus.

Final stage – The Donor shall select the Recipient and one runner-up in case the Recipient ceases being eligible for the Scholarship for any reason whatsoever. Latsco shall inform AUEB who the Recipient is and shall undertake to pay the tuition fees as per the payment plan directly to AUEB.

Recipient Obligations

The Recipient agrees to promptly inform the Donor in case the Recipient drops out of the master programme, as in such case the Scholarship will be forfeited.

In case the Recipient does not manage to complete postgraduate studies within the 12-month period, the Recipient hereby acknowledges that the Donor will be under no obligation to pay any additional costs, fees and/or expenses of whatsoever nature to AUEB or to the Recipient in order for the latter to continue and complete his/her master programme.
